Pearl River County SPCA Aims to Raise $10,000 on Giving Tuesday to Help Pets in Need
Picayune, MS – This Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024, the Pearl River County SPCA (PRCSPCA) is calling on the community to help reach a critical fundraising goal of $10,000. As the shelter faces increasing demands for care and support for homeless animals, these funds will directly benefit the dogs and cats who rely on PRCSPCA for a second chance at life.
Last year, PRCSPCA provided shelter, medical care, and loving homes for hundreds of animals. Donations raised on Giving Tuesday will fund essential needs, including vaccinations, sterilization surgeries, food, bedding, and more.
The PRCSPCA invites individuals, families, and businesses to get involved in the following ways:
Donate: Every dollar brings PRCSPCA closer to the $10,000 goal. Contributions can be made securely at https://bit.ly/3AXDL9y.
Spread the Word: Share the Giving Tuesday message on social media, encouraging friends and family to support the shelter’s mission.
Sponsor a Pet: Provide direct financial support to cover the care of a specific animal in need.
“On this Giving Tuesday, we invite our community to join us in making a life-changing impact for the animals in our care. Your generosity provides food, medical attention, and a second chance at love for pets who need it most. Together, we can ensure every animal gets the opportunity to find their forever home,” said Lauren Fitts, President of Pearl River County SPCA.
