SHELTER NEEDS
WE CAN ALWAYS USE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Dog houses
- Pet carriers
- Cages/Crates
- Dog or cat beds
- Newspapers
- Plastic bags (Wal-Mart, Winn Dixie, Home Depot, etc.)
- Dog or kitty toys
- Old Socks (puppies love ’em)
- Chew bones
- Pig hooves and ears
- Squeaky toys
- Tennis balls
- Catnip and catnip toys
- Dog and puppy food
- Cat and kitten food
- Kitty litter (plain litter – not the scoopable)
- Towels
- Blankets
- Toilet seat covers and bath mats (Great for cat beds)
- Stamps for letters
- Heavy buckets
- Fans (dog runs are not air conditioned)
- Long Distance Calling Cards
- Air purifiers (filter airborne bacteria for cats)
The Pearl River County SPCA always welcomes monetary donations (tax deductible) to assist with vet bills, spay/neuter costs, and the purchase of needed supplies. Donations can be mailed to the address listed on our Shelter Information page.
